When I change that setting, my sections go to full width. What do I need to change so the content width to remain like stock setting 1240px. I like the menu across that width but not content.
We are sorry but we misunderstood your question and you can go back with your 1240px grid width. To stretch just the header, please navigate to Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section and check Options: Full Width (for layout: Full Width)

to move the logo to the left side, you need to increase grid width under Theme options > Global > General section.
