it's all because of your JS errors in console what you can check on http://pasteboard.co/2sZgbHqM.png - those errors could be related with your plugins or you just simply did the mistakes somewhere in the code.
Please deactivate all your plugins, maybe you use some plugins to controll menu visibility by user roles?
If it didn't help please send us private message using contact form on our profile page on themeforest with your wp login details we eill check it for you
Really? This is a theme issue? Then maybe you can explain how it is possible that for over 25.000 of other customers it works. Can you explain that? If you need us to have a look on it deeper, you must send us private message with dashboard and FTP access and we will proof that the problem is on your side. We already requested for this access above with no result.
I already gave you privately my access. You look at it and you sent me this.
Such customisations are not included. We suggest to read Item Support Policy http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy to understand what is included into support. The problem you got is related with plugin’s settings and like we wrote, this is first time when we met with something like that. And because it is completely not related with theme, we can not help you unfortunately. We already proofed that after switching to default WP theme, you got the same problem. This means, theme does not have any impact on it. Also, please notice that this is first time when we met with something like that and we have no idea what you did wrong and where exactly.
Thanks for understanding!
Like I said, I had to turn to Woocommerce because you told me that the problem was woocommerce plugin.
So they told me that the problem was with the theme.
Who should I believe??? I'm not the one that decided that the problem was on your side.
So Woocommerce ninjas just gave me the same answer as you. IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM!!
But like we wrote, we did checked it closer and we did not found any problem related with theme. So how can we help if we do not see anything wrong? Maybe you should install new, clean WP, with fresh and recent theme version and the latest version of WooCommerce plugin. Don't you think that it's a little bit weird that you are the only one for whom it does not work? Please try to install all fresh and clean files and then check because we really do not see anything wrong related with theme.
He's not the only one that has found this problem. I have this problem too. Fresh install of both WP and BEtheme. I am not using any eCommerce plug ins. In fact, I have installed no plug-ins that were not required by the theme.
Home page menu works fine. However, the menu for secondary pages only show up in Chrome. Do not show up in FF, Seamonkey, Safari or even IE.
Nor does the featured image show up any more. (standard and portfolio templates) They were working. This is extremely frustrating. Theme Version 16.0.1
We can see, you have errors in JS console unrelated to theme and also bugs in html code. Just open your site in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and you will see what we mean. This need to fixed.
I am the only one that has been working on this site and have, in no way, altered the js or html outside of the wysiwyg tools provided by your template and those native to Wordpress. Even this page: http://edgemedia2.wpengine.com/?page_id=20 has the same problem, it is one of YOURS that came with the template and has not been touched. Please explain how this is not a template problem.
Yes, you touched. http://pasteboard.co/nAD57Tkwt.png - this is the code screenshot of above link and as you can the marked code is not a part of theme and never wasn't. You can do demo import on any other fresh WP installation and you will see that your issues has completely nothing to the BeTheme itself.
Ah, I thought you meant the embedded .js files. Yes, I inserted that simple javascript into the footer and have since removed it. Now my menus show up on the template pages. However, I still cannot get the "featured image" to show in the header of the secondary pages. Any suggestions?
I don't know when it stopped working, but I was, early on, able to choose a featured image and it would appear as the background in the header of that particular page. As it is now, it's simply the general background color: http://edgemedia.studio/rei-radio-podcast/
Today, the only way I can now insert a header background image on the secondary template pages is to add one in the General Settings>Header & Subheader>Subheader settings page. But then it is the same on all secondary pages. Since the content is to be different, I would like to find out if there is a setting that I might have changed in disabling this feature.
So if subheader background works and this is what you are looking for, under Page Options, under Page Options > Media section, you can find same option - Subheader | Image but for individual pages.
Awesome, figured it out. When editing the page, the options you are speaking of are near the bottom of that edit page. Changing Subheader | Image again allows me to display a different header background image per secondary page. Thanks for your help.
