custom css ignored after theme update
Hello,
i just updated the Betheme to version 16.7.
Before the update i used 16.6 with child theme.
Inside the child theme i use some custom css edits inside the child theme itself (inside theme design in wp-backend).
After updating the main theme to 16.7 some of these custom css edits are ignored (e.g. look of buttons or margins for checkbox).
I don't understand this behaviour, because these css edits are in child theme and i only updated the main theme from 16.6 to 16.7.
Thanks for your help!
Best Regards
Steffen

where do we have to look at?
Problem 1:
css style in child theme for font-size in "contact-form-submit-button" is ignored.
2)
Problem 2:
css style "margin-right" for checkbox "newsletter" is ignored.
Both problems are present since update from Betheme 16.6 to 16.7.
In 16.6 everything worked fine.
Thanks!
I use GEO-IP on my server and i block several coutries.
In which country are you located? Then i will enable your country temporarily.
See the attached screenshot! The custom.css - edits are ignored in Betheme 16.7.
On mobile devices the look of the site is sometimes horrible (font-sizes, margins etc.) and on desktop there are some tweaks needed as well.
Again:
There is no mistake in custom css. When i delete all css modifications, the button font-size is extremely small anyway. So i have to tweak it.
Before updating the main theme to 16.7 these custom css edits are accepted by the theme.
After updating to 16.7 they are not accepted.
So there has to be something in 16.7 that ignores custom css edits.
You can close the ticket.
Thanks!
I don't understand why, but if it's at the beginning of the file, then it works.
You suggested this before.
But does this mean, that below is a mistake somewhere in custom.css?
