Responsive Design doesn't work on iPad

Hey there,

I am using BeTheme Blog-Layout Masonry Blog Style. Unfortunately, on an iPad, the Headlines don't look well, they just diappear in the middle of the word. I thougt, responsive design ment that this does NOT happen. What's wrong? Please help!
I would send you a screenshot, but how does this work?
