What will be the size of thumbnail and actual image size?

Hi, I am wondering if you can guide me that what will be the size of portfolio.

For thumnail, size?

And once user will click on thumnail, size?

I simply upload one large website layout as portfolio but it shows strange, please check:

(check the first image from left)

Hi,

for portfolio items, we use images with 1200 x 800px size.

Hi, I do not think you read my question properly, when I put the image and people click for zoom, it is showing weired, please check the screenshot:

I mean, is there any way that:

1- For thumbnail I choose small picture

2- When user zoom it by clicking Zoom icon I upload another image

3- When user click on image - the new page opens and I upload another image for that?

Please help.
