  Please confirm that I understand you correctly 

  it is necessary to Add the following code to "functions.php" file:

  
  

  add_filter( 'wp_revisions_to_keep', 'filter_function_name', 10, 2 );

  
  

  function filter_function_name( $num, $post ) {

      return $num;

  }
