Change vimeo icon to viadeo icon

Hi
In France we have a social network named viadeo.
I would like to use the vimeo link (I don't need) to display the viadeo icon.

Never understood a lot how to broke and change your original icon and use others.

Hi Phanie,

only icons included into theme can be used and as we see there is no Viadeo icon so it is unfortunately not possible to use icon you need instead. The only thing you can do is upload your icon in media library and then modify includes/header-top-area.php file where icons are but in our opinion this is not good idea. And also you should know that after files modifications, you won't be able to do theme updates.

Could it be possible to change something on the css

<i class="icon-vimeo"> (like a background-image or content)

to obtain my social network icon ?

If this will be possible with css then we will give you code to do it

But unfortunately it is not as easy as you think. This needs files modifications and also new icons included.

So which workaround do you suggest to me ?
I regularly buy your theme for my customer, and would like to continue, but 75% of them use "Viadeo", so I really need to find a solution.

At this moment we do not have any solution. We use icons from http://fontello.com/ and if there is any Viadeo icon, then we can think about it while future updates. If you will find this icon, then please send us private message about that via contact form which is in right bottom corner at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup
