I don't think so. If you have pretty old child theme, there might be problem with some functions that no longer exists. WordPress constantly changes something and functions supported in the past, are not supported any longer.

Hi, looks like you set header to be fixed what means that any content below, goes on it. In such case, you should select different header type or move content with some padding or margin.
