Somebody else worked on the website before me, maybe they added this code. Will there be a problem if I delete the smooth scroll file? In other words, does WordPress or your theme need this file to work?

The device is Dell and the resolution is 1920x1080. The screen is not scaled up. The issues appear only when you visit the website via a pc. On mobile devices it works fine.
