In the "Responsive -> General" section of the theme config, "Responsive" was set to on.

Plugins are disabled as of now, except Contact7, Slider Rev and Visual Composer

I disabled all plugins except ContactForm7, Slider Revolution and VC, still the same problem. Even disabling those 3 did not solve the problem. ThanksTorsten
