Remove default "Featured Image" from posts?

Hi there,

I would like to have the flexibility of inserting perhaps a slider or photo gallery into each posts, but seems like the image I've set as the "Featured image" will automatically add that same image before the content. Is it possible to remove the default "Featured image" from the post?

Cos' now I've inserted a LayerSlider, and it seemed like I'm seeing double..

To remove featured image from single post page, please use below css:

.single-photo-wrapper .image_frame { display: none !important; }
