No options available for Revolution Slider
  • I've installed theme onto my dev server (running DesktopServer for WordPress) and the Rev Slider (RS) plugin says that it's installed OK but when I go to click into the RS option in the LH menu there are no fly out menu options displayed and once the page loads it displays a blank page (URL: http://www.smsfstrategies.dev/wp-admin/admin.php?page=revslider)

How do I reinstall the RS plugin?  I can't seem to find a suitable file in the theme download.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers.. Brett

  • I know the link won't work, that wasn't the reason I provided it to you. I was providing it to check whether the URL of the RS admin page should be /wp-admin/admin.php?page=revslider or not. Is that the default URL for the RS admin panel?

I have followed the instructions on how to update the plugin but Option one as listed in the post you provided is not possible because there is nothing displayed when I select the RS menu in the wp admin screen. Also there are no flyout menus on roll over (see image below)

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin several times, all with the same outcome. There are NO error messages displayed and the RS plugin files are present in the wp-content/plugin folder

As I mentioned in my first message, I am using DesktopServer for WordPress and I wonder if there might be an issue with these two integrating.  I have contacted the RS publisher, as well as DesktopServer too.

I really need to have the Rev Slider working for my client.  Pls advise asap

    Cheers... Brett
