Muffin-Slider Text Justification
  • The Muffin-Slider is nice, but doesn't provide an important feature, the ability to right justify text content when the image position is set to "Right." Is there a way in the Custom CSS to add code to make any Muffin Slide to show right title, text and button justification when right hand image positions are used? This is a real aesthetic issue that needs given consideration.

Also, the slider needs to be set to pause during the full length of a video. If a Vimeo or Youtube link is installed, the slider continues to animate after the video starts, which negates the purpose of having a video. Yes, a person can hover a mouse in the space to pause the animation if that functions is selected in the settings panel, however a website visitor will not know this, unless a feature is added that shows a messages that tells the user to "Hover mouse arrow in video area during play to pause slider."

  • Perfect! Thank you. The Revolution Slider is overkill, where the client really likes the Muffin Slider best, only there is no clear way to tell the reader to hover the mouse to pause the animation while a video playing, which is its only short coming. Great template overall!

As a note, the Vanilla support forum does not work in Internet Explorer 11, it fails with a "Body is Required" error message when attempting to submit. I have to use Google Chrome to use the forum. MuffinGroup should fix this. You will find this is a common problem. Users on Internet Explorer 11 attempting to post on a forum with the CLEditor jQuery WYSIWYG plugin enabled will receive the error, even if body text is provided.

The latest release that includes the fix is here: http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/26685/vanilla-2-1-stable-released
