Colors in Caffeine Theme Footer keep reverting to Default

  • Hi there,
I have a dev site here: http://dev.acbn.org/ and am using your Caffeine Theme. Colors seem to work in the other sections, but when I change them in the footer, they'll stay for a few minutes or several hours, and then revert to the default colors.

Can I get some assistance fixing this?

    Thanks,
    Mieren

  • Hi MG,

I don't really understand your response. This is what my email receipt says I purchased:

    Hi mieren,
Thanks for purchasing Caffeine Responsive WordPress Theme by muffingroup

That's what I installed. One of the reasons I chose this theme is because it allows you to change colors. I don't understand what you mean about skins being related to this.

    Thanks,
    Mieren
  • Yes, I do have 'Custom' selected in the dropdown menu in Theme options > Colors > General section. I am not trying to use a predefined skin.

Regardless, when I change colors in the footer - which I have done at least a half dozen times at this point - the colors stay only a short time before reverting to the default colors.
However, the color changes work fine in the rest of the sections.
  • If you view this url you can see better what I mean: http://dev.acbn.org/not-a-page

As you can see, the colors I'm using are not one of your pre-defined skins. I have set the colors myself. However, the footer doesn't hold the settings.

It looks like possibly the button and h4 header tag aren't working either, as you can see in the content section there.
  • At this point, I am going through and making changes to the css and php files because of the above-described difficulties.
