Creating full width content with Wordpress Editor
  • Hi, I was using this cake theme and wanted to add wordpress language support. And the only way that I've heard of doing this was instead of using the muffin builder I would need to use the short codes to build something similar. So I went on my way building the parts and everything looks good. However when I got to adding some background and adding "highlight-left" I can clearly see that the content that I'm building using the wordpress editor is not full width.

    For example, this image. The top part of the image is built with the muffin builder. while the bottom half is built with the html and short code. Here is the code that I used in the wordpress editor.

    <div class="section  highlight-left" style="padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 60px;">
        <div class="section_wrapper clearfix">
            <div class="items_group clearfix">
                    [one_second][image src="" align="" caption="" link="" link_type="" target="" alt=""][/one_second]

    So if anyone has any suggestions or solutions please let me know. Maybe another question that you could answer is...does Wordpress Multilingual(WPML) work well with the muffin builder, if so then I could possibly avoid building everything in scratch.

  • Well I guess my question is does the WPML plugin work with content created in the muffin builder?
  • WPML works great with the muffin builder. Just need to remember to duplicate the layer when making the translations so you can copy the muffin builder options.
