Page title and breadcrumbs not appearing after activation Revolution Slider on the page

Hi,

I've just installed the theme, but I've noticed that the Page Title is disappearing when the Revolution Slider is active on the page. Is it a mistake? Is it the way it should work?

Thanks,

Ivan

  • Hi Ivan,

    the thing you ask for works exactly as should be. This is how theme works and in our opinion this is the only proper way. When slider is activated then you see slider, but if you don`t need slider you got subheader with title and breadcrumbs. This also works the same way with other good themes.
  • Hi,

    Well, I disagree about it. I could want to have a slider on a page and still show the title on it!

    On the other hand, if I choose not to have a slider, I think it should be logical to be able to set the height of the image you use for it. I guess this is something you could change easily modifying the CSS?

    Thanks!

    You can look here: http://soweic.com/about-us/
    My work around is not to choose the slider in the page option, but add another section with Muffin > add item > Visual Editor then paste the slider shortcode - mine is [rev_slider h_slider] which you can find from the Revolution Slider itself.

    One last thing is remember to use 'Full Width. No sidebar' in the Layout for this Section.

    The only issue I have is it has gap between subheader and the slides though everything set to 0 in slides and use the css style:
    .page-id-366 #Content { padding-top: 0px !important; }

    @skiclass If you don`t agree with that, then you can use revolution slider as any other regular part of website. Go to Revolution Slider section, get shortcode and paste in Muffin Builder section (Column item for example). and in this case, you will get subheader with title and also revolution slider. But the whole rest described @Soweic above.

    Thanks @Soweic it's a good workaround! Not perfect but better than nothing.  I've seen these options in other themes though!
