Overriding sc_article_box in Child Theme
  • Hi,

I'm trying to find to best way to override the sc_article_box() function in a child theme based on Kora.

My first attempt was to check if Kora was pluggable, meaning that the base theme function would make sure a child theme hasn't defined any overriding functions before defining it itself.  Bump, Kora is not pluggable.

My second attempt was to try unregistered an action from some hook in WordPress and re-registered it with my own function.  Bump, content builder is extracted from the databases and is not using the regular hook system.

Could you please suggest a way to achieve it that doesn't involve modifying the base theme itself?

    Thanks,

    Francois
