Kora Theme Page Builder Article Block Content Hidden From Search Engines
  • This might be more of an advisory than anything else, but nevertheless a very serious one.

It seems that any content that is put into several of the Page Builder blocks are hidden from Search Engines, and provide no visibility for SEO.
We use an analytics company that scrubs our pages to give us errors and warnings. In almost all cases of using the "article block" in the page builder, the content inside is completely masked.  For instance, we have a page that consists of a slider and several articles blocks. The analytics company and the Yoast Plugin both flag the page saying there is "no content" or "0 words".  If the text is placed in the editor and then container in a  "Content" block, both the Analytics tool and Yoast recognize the content.  We DO have the button in the page builder section set to ON in all cases.

We are now in the process of going through other elements of the Page Building to see what we have to do.  One serious issue we HAVE found is that, again in the article blocks, the img attributes are not available, which is a page ranking plus. There doesn't seem to be a way for us to place our keywords/phrases into the img attributes at all . If anyone has found and answer to this, please let us know.

Again, this isn't a bug, per se, but it IS something that probably would have been nice to know before we purchased it. It's caused us to have to do a LOT of rewriting so that our content is visible to Google and other search engines.

  • I don't have any kinds of problems with other sites that use those plugins. Why only Kora?
