Need Transparent and Different Color Backgrounds
  • Hi there.

I know that under "Backgrounds" in a "skins" style.css file I can edit #Content to be transparent but that makes the whole page transparent besides the header.

I need to specify background colors for different sections.

For instance the content area at the top will be transparent, the Features will have a reddish background and the rest we want to remain white. All text colors, backgrounds, shadows and more I can handle through CSS.

I tried changing things within the "shortcodes.css" file to know avail.

Can I provide you with the information to check out the site yourself for a better understanding?

Let me know what you think.

PLEASE KNOW that your time and help are appreciated. And I think my days are crazy... ;)

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for getting back to me.

I am not looking for anybody to do anything for me. Especially for FREE. lol. I have included a screenshot below with an annotation for you. Let me know what you think when you can.

All I need is an idea of where to make the needed CSS changes for the section to be transparent. I can then go in and adjust the text styles appropriately.

    Thanks again.

  • Thank you for the Head's Up. I am actually working on it now and have broke through a little bit.

Unfortunately I have a couple of more questions probably to bring up. I am on a deadline but am at the finish line now.

Know again that your time and help is appreciated. How do you think it is looking so far? Nobody has really seen it yet.

    Take care.
