How can I configure the 'HOME" page to use the "body_overlay" image?
  • I am trying to set up my home page to use the body_overlay image just like in your demo, but I don't want to use the import XML file on the site that will ultimately use the theme. Rather, I am going to set up 2 sites - one with XML demo content (as  a practice site), one without (my main site) and copy settings from there.

After importing XML file (the home page uses "body_overlay" as the image - thats good!), and when configuring the menu - the home page reverts to using the "body_overlay_subpage" image - that's not so good!. No matter what settings in the "Reading" admin area are used (i have tried all combinations) - the home page always reverts to the "body_overlay_subpage"

How do I get my home page, or for that matter - any use the "body_overlay" image? I would like to set up multiple pages styled with the body_overlay image.

There are four template options Default, Archives, Portfolio and Sitemap. None of these seem to utilize the body_overlay  - but rather the body_overlay_subpage!!

Maybe a video showing us how to use this image for the front page would be nice - after all, that is what attracted me to the theme in the first place.

Love your themes Muffingroup and I look forward to the answers.

  • ok, I included the image for the page background, but in your demo you have inner pages have a different header image (smaller).
