Minimise or remove white padding (horizontal) between sections on homepage
  • Hi guys,

Thanks so much for your ace support on this theme, it's really helping a lot.

I have one more question - sorry! How can I make the horizontal white padding/margins between the content blocks on the homepage a lot smaller? Or maybe eliminate the padding so all of the content sits tightly together?

I only want to remove the horizontal white space between each content block. So on your demo for example, I'd like to make the space underneath the top slider and the next row of columns (powerful admin panel, powerful support etc) really small.

I'd like to do this across all of the horizontal rows. Is there an easy way to try this out? I hope so.

  • Hi guys,

    Here is the url: http://www.bloomingfree.com

I've attached a screenshot. I hope that you can understand what I mean. I'd like to narrow the padding in the content boxes as well, but that can wait for now.

Looking forward to your reply - thanks very much.image
  • Thanks very much for this, it looks like it should work straightaway but I have just added the code to theme options>layout>custom css and nothing has changed yet.

I have press CTRL F5 and still no change. Will it take time to see the changes?

  • Hi guys,

Thanks for your help. I've just taken a look and it hasn't worked across all the spaces. I can see the code is 5px but the top sections still look like they have 20px gaps and all the middle sections have no padding at all.

This is really strange. Please can you suggest a fix so the padding is the same across all sections? I'm in a rush to finish this today. I will attach a new screenshot to show you.
  • In that case, could you give me a price to get the padding all consistent please and the client can decide if they wish to pay for this extra customisation? Thanks very much!
