HELP! menu stopped working

I tried minifying the JS code for my site through https://closure-compiler.appspot.com/, which seamed to break the code so I replaced the minified code with the original one in DW, saved it (scripts.js), and uploaded via FTP; but now my menus are not working and God knows what else is broken.

Please help me figure out how to remedy this issue.

Hi,

You have to reinstall your BeTheme.

All content is saved in the Database, so you won't lose it,

To be carefull, please make a backup.

Do you have any idea what went wrong? Does the highlighted part of this file structure change if when new files are uploaded? Is there a setting in DW that changes it? I don't see how reuploading the same file will break the theme.

I need to minify this file, how do I make sure my site isn't broken because of it?

The highlighted part is only a version controll added by the plugins or the theme/wordpress.

There is nothing we can do about that.

Please do not minify the JS files, it will break your website( as it did)

Like Pablo said, please reinstall the theme and clear your browser cache.

Simply delete folder with theme and upload it again.

But as I said before, please make a backup.

So i reinstalled the theme (Parent and Child) but the menu still does not show. What else could be the problem?

1) Minify CSS is not wrong thing, but only if your code has thousands of lines.

2) Please send me a screenshot of your System Status in BeTheme.

Please contact your hosting provider and tell him to increase your

PHP Max Input Vars to 5000 minimum and PHP Time limit to 60-180.

ok, I just increased those limits as needed.

They are set to this now:

php_value memory_limit 512M

php_value upload_max_filesize 64M

php_value post_max_size 64M

php_value max_execution_time 300

php_value max_input_vars 259200

php_value max_input_time 259200

what next?
