Search and Live Search problem
I'm experiencing problems with the Search (Menu) and Live Sarch Block (places in random section).
If I am searching for a specific word that is on my landing page multiple times, the search results are: none. Sometimes it findes words but just in the Impressum and Disclaimer even if they are on my homepage and other pages to.
I'm running it on the parent theme and I deactivated all the plugins while trouble shooting - didnt help. problem is still there.
Any ohter ideas what yould cause the problem?
Can you tell me what word you are using for testing, please?
Thank you for your fast respond.
Sure. Here is what i tried.
On my landing page, i search for these words :
The only result I get is for the Disclalimer page "Datenschutzerklärung". But it should show on other pages like "Angebot" and FAQ.
Please let me know if there is anything else i can do.
Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.
Please attach a link to this forum discussion.
Sending incorrect or incomplete data will result in a longer response time.
Therefore, please ensure that the data you are sending is complete and correct.
at this stage I am unsure how do send you the WP dashbord and how to enebale a FTP access.
would you know of a tutorial on how it is done correctly?
In the search form, I sent you a link to put: a link to this forum discussion, a link to your WP dashboard, username, password, and FTP credentials.
About the FTP, please see the following link:
I send you the details as requested
I received your message, and everything works, but there is one problem.
The user you have sent credentials to does not have admin rights.
Please change it, and we will be able to check that.
i changed the WP user to Admin.
For the FTP user I have no option where i can change the rights to Admin.
We found the culprit, which is fixed in the newest update (27.0).
Please update your Betheme, and use the new option in Betheme -> Tools, named Analyze Builder content.
Thank you very much for you effort - appreciated.
I tested the search bar with the same 3 words:
Now I do get some results, great.
However, two things stood out.
1) The results don't include the header nor content from the FAQ form (tested with "Rappen")
2) If Elementor is activated and i search for: "Rappen" then this text appears in the top section of the result page:
Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /home/httpd/vhosts/thebigstep.ch/SolveX.ch/wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/base/document.php on line 1700 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /home/httpd/vhosts/thebigstep.ch/SolveX.ch/wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/base/document.php on line 1709 Warning: Attempt to read property "post_status" on null in /home/httpd/vhosts/thebigstep.ch/SolveX.ch/wp-content/plugins/elementor/core/kits/manager.php on line 280
I'll leave your logins active for now.
Thanks for reporting.
1) We have corrected it on your website. Please check it out.
2) With that, you should contact Elementor support instead.
Work just fine.
I'll just deactivate elementor as I'am just using the BeTheme Builder.
Thanks for your great support. appreciated!!
