List of Revolution Sliders are missing from dropdown

I followed all the steps to install a demo theme. At first, the demo slider showed up on the frontend of the website.

However, the dropdown to select a slider does not show any new slider created. Refer to the image below. I have created a new slider in Revolution slider, but I cant select it.

Also, once I edit any content on the page - like change the content of another layer in the Muffin editor, the slider disappears from the front end also.

Please disable all plugins including cache and leave only revolution slider active.
Make sure to have the latest version of the plugin and the theme itself.
It would be also a good idea to clear browser cache after that.

The issue still exists. The Revolution slider is at version 5.4.3.1 and BeTheme is on version 17.8.5
All plugins are disabled - except Contact form 7 and Force Regenerate Thumbnails.

It is worth to note that the PHP version 7.0 but I tested this on PHP 5.6 also, and the same issue exists.

Also, the following PHP variables were set in the .htaccess


php_value upload_max_filesize 32M
php_value post_max_size 32M
php_value max_execution_time 180
php_value max_input_vars 10000
