is it possible to get the icon boxes to change colour or something when you hover over them with a mouse?

This item changes color. If you want a custom color, you will need custom css.

i use a photo and you don't get a choice for a hover colour.

the boxes in questions are under the heading, "more treatments". we need these to change their state, like a hover state or something.

You can use this custom css to change the background and the title, but this will change every icon box on the site, if you want to only aim for those "more treatments" icon boxes please add a custom class to the section they are in.

	background:red !important;
}
.icon_box:hover h4 {
	color:blue !important;
}

Please paste this into theme options>custom css&js>css,
if you donot see any changes try to delete browser cache.
