smooth scroll for in page links?

Hi I can't get smooth scroll working for in page anchor links.

I Have a "sliding box" element on the page an set the link to #test

Belo in the page I set the custom ID to test.

The I switched on One page.

When I click the sliding box image, the page jumps to that section instead of smooth scrolling. Do you know why?

to link:

how can I add the class to this link? in sliding box I only have an input field for the ID?!

You must use html code with class as above has been explained. It is not possible to add this class other way.

@nlbackhaus You can set it up under Appearance > Menus section. Under each menu item is CSS Classes (optional) field.
