full width image

Hello,

I think I'm missing something very very easy here, but I can't manage to have an image (let's say 1920x1080px) full width on screens bigger than that resolution (WQHD, 4k, 21:9, etc).

If I use the vc "single image" the image is responsive but doesn't stretch on screen bigger than its dimension, if I set the image as background in a row it can be set to stretch (cover) but its not exactly responsive and if (as in my case) there is nothing in that row I need to play with the paddings to make the image visible.

p.s. before saying that right above that image there are some full screen images I've had to use gigantic images ( =very resources intensive) for them to fill the full width

Hi,

which image is not full width on larger screens? We checked http://sviluppo2.envi.it/it/3d-model/#3d_009 and images are full width on larger screens so we don't know what you mean exactly.

the others that are full width are 3840px width so you would need a 5k screen to see margins around those...

Those images are in columns. I see you are using visual composer. Please edit the columns and remove the padding.

i've set paddings and margins for the second image column, row and the vc "single image" shortcode to 0px but it didn't change anything... I'm still seeing this http://imgur.com/a/11fYD

nope, as I've said in the post before I've set paddings and margins to 0px, but on my 2560x1440px screen I still see it like this: http://imgur.com/a/11fYD

Well if the image is 1920px wide then it will not strech to 2560px jsut because it is too small. There is nothing we can do about it.
