How to change the number of columns of a portfolio slider on home page?

Hi BeTheme,

Right now I only have 3 items in the portfolio, and I want to show them in a portfolio slider on home page.

It seems that there are at least 4 columns for the portfolio slider right now. How can I change that to 3?

Hi,

you can change that in theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>portfolio

there is a slider to change the number of columns.

Thanks. But it doesn't work. I have adjusted that slider to be 2, but on my website, the space are for at least 4 columns. Please check my website to see the problem: https://globaltouchstones.com/

Sorry but your slider has 4 columns set, if you set to 2 columns it will not stretch fully because the image is too small. Please set to 2 columns and let me know.

You are using the item "portfolio-slider" and there are only 4 columns there. The setting above are for the main portfolio page.

Please edit the item in the builder and set the image size to smaller, the slider will addapt and change the number of columns.

If I change the image size to small, it will be 6 columns instead of less. Which file controls the number of columns? I don't mind to do hard coding of the template.

You would have to change the JS code, it controls the width. In scripts.js file.
Maybe then use a big image setting.
