Hey, so I am trying to achieve a sidebar like you have in the demo. (on the posts page along with the masonry blog style page.

I got the sidebar to show up on the individual post pages, but since the blog is a page and not a post, the sidebar shows up on every page. Is there a way to create my blog as a post or something else so I can get the sidebar like the individual post pages?

(trying to get the sidebar on this page also, not my entire site.)

I hope I explained this right.

Please make sure that you have selected the main blog page in settings>reading, as the posts page.
Also go to appearance>widgets and fill the blog sidebar with your widgets.

What you said above is what I did to get the sidebar to show up on the individual blog posts but not the blog grid page

This is becayse you have created a sidebar with the name 'blog' which is not allowed. By default you have this sidebar in appearace>widgets

Ah, blog was never mentioned in the callout. I ended up just having to toggle the sidebar on and off for it to work.

(Do not use special characters or the following names: buddy, events, forum, shop)

Now that I got it to work, I cant get the images to show up masonry style. They only do diff sizes of rectangles.

I have Masonry Blog Style selected in the appearance blog.

Is this something I have to change in the appearance > feature image option option or thumbnail? If so what is the size you use in the demo? I notice your photos look larger in general also..

Please go to theme options>global>sliders and set the time for this slider, this way it will autoslide.
