Redirect issue with static front page

Hi All,

when I go to reading setting and change "front page displays" to static page i can choose the static page.

There is NO problem if I have set the Permalinks settings to "Plain". Then it works.

But If I change the permalink settings to "Post Name" (this is what I want), I always get a redirect issue when I enter the address.

Page is www.1year-OneWorld.de

For now I have changed back the reading settings to "latest posts" that the website can be opened.

Does someone know this issue and can help to solve this?

Hi,
this should not be an issue, please try to disable all plugins and the change the permalinks to post name.

Hi,

did this, deactivated all plugins, changed it but still have redirect issue. Leave it like this that you can check.

www.1Year-OneWorld.de

If I go directly to www.1Year-OneWorld.de/startseite , I can enter.

(Think it has to do with the betheme, if i do this with another theme I have no issues)

Could you please delete the theme via FTP and install it again?

Please make a backup before.

Hi,

did this, deleted the whole folder, downloaded the actual version of the be theme and uploaded it. Still the same problem.

Also tried to access the site in the time no theme was installed.

- For www.1year-Oneworld.de I still got the redirect issue

- For www.1year-OneWorld.de/startseite , it told me that the there is no theme

So can it be that not the theme is the problem here? Any idea what else it could be?

This could be something with the htaccess. Please ask your hosting provider to check what is happening in the logs.
