Is there a way to put the testimonials loop in the sidebar like the scrolling example you have here at the bottom of the page? http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/shortcodes/loops#testimonials

Testimonials slider works as raw/text shortcode and what you can do is get this shortcode and paste into "Text" widget inside sidebar but to be honest we are not sure if this will work as we did not tested shortcodes inside sidebar.

I do not see this option any longer. Can you tell me how to add a testimonial shortcode to the footer widgets in the current version of BeTheme?

You can change all the widgets in appaerance>widgets, have you tried it?

There are a few of the footer widget areas, check them all. It will be there, trust me.
