Change Font colour on feature picture in each page

Hi. How do I change the colour of the colour of the text as I cannot see it due to the colour of my picture. I have tried the css code added to my child theme but I am guessing this is not a header!!

#header .site-title a, #header .site-description {
color: #000000 !important;
}

Would love any help on this.

Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.

So on the page you will see Home is in a pale grey. How would I change that to black for example.

Go to theme options>colors>header and change the subheader font color there.

I have a sub header title option which I have changed but it makes no difference. All the other options are for background and there is one to change the colour of the icon. At least I have been looking in the right places!! Any other ideas?

That is exactly what I have done and the header text colour is not changing. I do not know what the change colour of the icon would do. It's just an option I have. I don't think it would be relavent for this

Any other ideas?

Maybe you have selected a theme skin color? If so, you cannot change individual colors.
