Although i have imported the betheme-child.zip when i click activate i am redirected to the betheme options. What am i doing wrong? I am using v20.6.1 of betheme.

i am developing the project locally so i cant give you access at the moment. The question is, in order for the child theme to be activated should i register the theme beforehand? is that the reason i am redirected to bethteme options page at the dashboard of wordpress?
