You have to install the slider again, please first check if the slider was not imported in RS plugin. You can set the slider by editing the main page and selecting the slider from the drop down list in page options. Also make sure that when you download a pre-built websites, all plugins are installed and activated.
If there is no slider on the list go to pre-built websites, choose your pre-built website and install only the slider, there is an option for this.
