Unknow CSS Definition overrides button color

Hello ThemeSupport,

i am working ith the BeTheme and i try to figure out where this definition comes from

i searched for it in all css files but cant finde the definition of it.

If i change the theme skin in the theme options this value gets changed. The !important destroys all shortcodes including the button feature of visual composer.

Help is appreciated.

  • Hi,
the style for this button comes fron the local style="". It is not set from CSS files.
    thanks
  • Well that can't be possible, because i set the element styles to something different. If you take a look at the screenshot you can see that the color style should be #fff.

I also would never use !important in element styles.

As i mentioned above there has to be a connection with the theme skin colors, because if i change that value, the color value also gets changed but still is mentioned with a !important.
  • As you see here: https://imgur.com/6CHlYGY

the theme option i marked on top will change the hexcode for the color, so i think this is also responsible for the !important tag.

This also creates a dynamic css style in the index file which i cant even change when i make a new class for the button and try to override it with a custom css style.

This is a complete new installation of the theme with demo content. I have to be able to style my buttons how i like..

    how can i change that?
  • Ok, have you changed the colors for the button in theme options>colors>content?

You said that this is a new installation with demo content but you are using a VC button?
  • Yes i want to use the visual composer instead of the Muffin One because i am familiar with it already.

here you can see my settings. already tried that one but nothing changes.

I use a custom vc button where i predefined the color sheme like i want it to be. Outlined White with white Font and then it gets filled if you hover it - in the red the font is. But the Font should stay white.

But then there is this css style overwriting it.
  • Okay, this is very unusuall. Could you disable all plugins except VC and check again? If this will not work, we will take other actions.
