On our searchpage we get the following notice:

 Notice: wpdb::prepare was called incorrectly. The query does not contain the correct number of placeholders (1) for the number of arguments passed (2). This message was added in version 4.8.3.) in /<path>/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4145.

The call stack specifies it coming from the wpdb query in betheme/functions/theme-functions.php:1941

Sadly, I don't have an online example for you to view, since we disable all notices on production sites.
