How to make my portfolio full width on the page when I use 'Masonry Hover Details' style?

Hello,

I have selected 'full width' option both in theme options>portfolio as well as within the actual portfolio widget on my page.
However, the portfolio images still only appear in the centre of the screen with wide white space on left and right.
I'd like to have the portfolio items all the way to the edges of my page.

Can you please advise how I can do this?

    If you are using the default portolio page it will be not possible. You would have to use the grid width options in theme options>global>general, but the limit is 1920px.

    The best sollution for you would be to create a section and set it to full width, then insert a portfolio item inside and display it there.

    Thank you for your answer.
    However, I am not sure I explained what I mean very well. I tried what you suggested but it didn't work).
    I would like to make my portfolio main page to be full width (not the page with an individual portfolio item and description). 
    I want to have the masonry tiles expanding to the edge of the page. Here you can see how this currently looks (I've only added two test images for now): https://pasteboard.co/GUYGFpE.png

    Did you also set the default portfolio page in theme options>portfolio?
    Also make sure that the page you are using has the portfolio template selected
