Blog Category not working

Hi there,

I used the blog element in visual composer and selected "What's new" as my category. The element is displaying all posts, starting with the most recent, even though the only category I would like to be displayed is "whats new".

HI,
please send a link to this page. Have you set up your blog page correctly? You need to set it up in settings>reading as your default posts page.

I have a dedicated blog page which I have determined through settings> reading: http://dev.partek.ca/medalta/blog/

My issue is with the blog element not displaying correctly on the home page. It is displaying all categories instead of the single category I have selected to display.

Maybe you have selected an exclude category option, which would make sense. Anyway the page is blocked. We need login and password to enter.

we checked and everything seems to be working fine, can you tell us which VC item you have selected to dissplay the blog, there are 3.
We suggest disabling all third party plugins and check the custom code you have entered.
