I'm creating a new post and I'm using the intro header template. Is it possible to change the height of the background image so it isn't as tall?

maybe you have selected the full screen intro section in the page options?
This can be done only with custom css, please send a link to this page.

You can controll it with this css, just change the first padding value
#Intro .intro-inner {
padding: 150px 10% !important;
}
