Menu only displays with responsive off
I recently took over managing a client's website built on BeTheme and it was very outdated (version 6.2). They were having issues with the navigation not functioning along with a few other issues. I thought this might be due to the very outdated BeTheme they were running, so I installed the latest version and left their Child Theme as is, but the menu is still not working. It doesn't display at all in the desktop size now unless I have responsive turned off. The menu button will display when scaled down to mobile and tablet sizes, but does nothing when you click on it.

this is a very common issue and it is always connected with cache. This could be cache plugins or server side cache.
Please remember to have it disabled when you update the theme.

Reinstalling the theme may fit it, be sure to disable all plugins and download the newest version of the theme.
