trouble to update Visual composer --> bug in articles editor
Hello,
I'm trying to modify an article with Visual Composer and have some issues. Some windows appear empty and when I save the article, the modifications are not visible.
So i think i need to update VC. I activated another theme, deleted VC, reactivate the child theme and installed VC once again. But it's still the 5.1.1 version insteed of the latest : 5.4.5.
Could you please help me and telle me what's the procedure to update VC ?
Thanks you
Nicolas

Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
thanks
It's very urgent now...
Could you have a look and fix it please ? Can you please send me an email to [email protected] so i can send you the passaword of the website please ?
Please go to your FTP, create a php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us a link to that file privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact so we can have a look on your server settings. The problem is probably related to limits but to be sure which one is the reason, we need that link. For more details about file creation, please visit https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204643880/how-can-i-create-a-phpinfo.php-page.
