BeTheme Update Stuck in Maintenance Mode

Hello,

I started the update process (within Wordpress updates page) and it has been a while (more than 30 minutes). The website is in Maintenance Mode and I cannot do anything.

Updating from 20.7.9 to 20.8.3 (if I remember correctly, since I cannot access any page now)

The update page says:

The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.
Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Theme Betheme (1/1) 


and nothing else after that!

    OK now 30 something minutes after I started, I checked again and Maintenance Mode is off.

    Dashboard says:

    An automated WordPress update has failed to complete - please attempt the update again now.

    At this point, I am just reporting to you guys so you can investigate. I will post more shortly.

    Second attempt was successful. Probably an issue with my hosting provider (Siteground).
