From localhost to live

Hi,
Could you please send me some instructions for step by step migration from localhost to production because whatever i do i always see a blank white page or the wp-login install page. I have transfer the wordpress directory and the database change the urls and paths as i always do but nothing happened.

I'm lost

Hi,

all we do is just database migration with WP Migrate DB [Links visible only for registered users] plugin. And the rest is the same as while first installation.

So if i copy the contents of my localhost wordpress directory as it is on production server and migrate the database with this plugin it will be ok or i must install wordpress from scratch??

I use muffin builder so i must first change urls and paths with your plugin before migrate the database and upload wordpress contents on production server??

Better will be to install wordpress from scratches (just like first time) as it is more safe. After whole migration you can use Mfn CB Migrate tool.

If i install wordpress from scratch which files i must copy from my localhost to production server to avoid make all the site from the beginning??

You don't need to copy any files from localhost. Just install wordpress and theme (the same was as first) and then move database. That's it! Everything is stored in database, not files.
