remove a white strip on the right and left side of a slider

This is a one picture slider (made with revolution slider plugin).
I want to remove the narrow white stripe on the left and the right side of the slider. I want the picture to have the same lenght as the turquoise stripe underneath the main menu.
How can I achieve this?

we see that you have set the slider as a shortcode in the section.
Try to set the slider in the page options. Just edit the page and scroll down until you will see a slider drop down.

It can be seen on desktops, but not on mobile phones.
How can I remove that black stripe (or at least change the colour to white)?

Now the turquoise stripe is underneath the slider. Is there a way to put it above the slider?
This is the order I want (from above):
1. logo and menu
2. turquoise stripe
3. slider
4. text
5. turquoise stripe
At the moment the turquoise stripes are made with sections in the page builder.
