Thanks for your reply, There is no main event page. When the events calendar is activated it creates it own page. That page does not show up in the list of pages.
You are right, it generates the pages and I have also looked into the sidebar situation. It seems that the sidebar is not changeable and it is only on the right side or if you do not add widgets it does not appear at all. thanks
