Updating Slider Revolution

Hi,

How can Slider Revolution be updated? Only by updating BeTheme? I don't seem to have received a notification to update for a long time, how can I check whether I have the latest version?

The slider on the top of my homepage (click here) recently stopped working. I asked my host about this, and the reply was "As far as I can see the slider plugin is currently pending an update that's fixing a bug with the Slider preview in version 5.4.3 (that's the exact same version you are using right now). Can you please try to update the plugin and test its functionalities again?".

What can I do?

HI,
you do not need to update the theme, but you should anyway.
The plugins need to be updated from the betheme>install plugins tab

Hi,

Thanks. Do you mean Appearance > Install plugins? The only plugin listed there is Layer Slider; it's Slider Revolution that I want to update, not Layer Slider.

Well, this must mean that you actually do not have the newest version of the theme.
Please send a link to that page.

Yes, I came to the same conclusion. However, it seems from my 'Updates' dashboard that there are no theme updates pending: https://pasteboard.co/HioUSDX.png.

I didn't understand, which page do you want the link for? Do you mean you would like to be able to login to my WordPress dashboard? If so, can I send login credentials to you via private message?

What is your current version of the theme.
It is probably so old that it cannot be updated form the panel and you need to do that manually.

Version 17.8.5. I think ThemeForest used to send me alerts that a new theme was available, but they stopped coming, even though I'm still paying for support. There is also no alert within my WordPress dashboard.

That is because the support you buy does not cover update notices.
Please do the following:
1. Remove the theme from your dashboard.
2. Download and install the newest version.
It would be a good idea to make a backup.
Also remeber to register the theme after you install it.

Thanks. In that case, how do I get to know when updates are out?

And could you confirm whether the plugins continue to be included while paying for this?

When I downloaded the zip folder from ThemeForest just now, I could not find any plugin files inside it.

There are notices for the updates, they happen each weak, mostly on fridays.
You will know that there is an update from the betheme>dashboard, screen: http://prntscr.com/jb5kkk
You will also install/update plugins, pre-built websites and sliders from the wordpress admin.
