you can try that with this css

.timeline_items > li:nth-child(1) {
    padding: 0 55% 25px 0 !important;
}

maybe i don't explain well my wish:

i would like timeline to start from left, so first element on left, second on right and so on

Try this instead

.timeline_items > li:nth-child(odd) {
    padding: 0 55% 25px 0 !important;
}
.timeline_items > li:nth-child(even) {
    padding: 0 0 25px 55% !important;
}
