Random Deletions

edited March 2018 in BeBuilder
Hello,

I have had my website for years and have been building it all myself. I have been running BeTheme for over a year now, and haven't had problems until recently, but now I have come across this issue several times, and it is ongoing:

On my more content-filled pages, it seems like there is a content limit, because if I try to go in and add something, it will delete whatever is nearest to the bottom, seemingly to make room for the new addition.

Is there really a content limit, or is this just a malfunction? How can I get assistance with this?

Again, I have been managing my own site for years, so even though I'm no expert, I'm certainly not new to this, so it's not user error. It's a ligitimate malfunction or a case of running up against some sort of content limit for the page.

Please help!

Sincerely,
Lezlie

  • Hi,

Please go to your FTP, create a php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us a link to that file privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] so we can have a look on your server settings. The problem is probably related to limits but to be sure which one is the reason, we need that link. For more details about file creation, please visit [Links visible only for registered users].

  • I'm afraid I don't exactly know how to do this. I've followed the link provided, but I still don't know how to do it. Is there anything else I can do?
  • Please try again or ask you hosting provider to do this, it is very easy. If you follow the video tutorial then you will manage for sure.

From our experience it is the max_input_vars value on your server, ask your hsoting rpovide to turn it up to 5000 from 1000.

    thanks
