Hi,

I have a main products page that I would like to link to the product page, however some pages have multiple products on.

This is why I would like to include a page jump to the specific section.

I have tried to use the # option but to no avail

how exactly you tried to do this scroll effect to individual sections on products pages? Please explain and show us on examples.

Basically I have created a website - www.bloxhamlewis.co.uk

On the products page - http://bloxhamlewis.co.uk/products/

I have the products listed as a small image on the products page. Then if you click onto a product it takes you to a more in depth description on the product.

On these product pages (http://bloxhamlewis.co.uk/grp-grating-anti-slip-floor-products/) products that relate to each other are on the same page.

This is why I need to add a page jump so the each product goes automatically to its own section.

Does that make sense?

Yes, this makes sense now. Looks like you definitely ask for a one page feature and this is what we already gave you above. This is what you need to do:

1st step: On page like http://bloxhamlewis.co.uk/grp-grating-anti-slip-floor-products/ each product's sectin must have own Custom | ID example product1.

2nd step: Then you should link as http://bloxhamlewis.co.uk/grp-grating-anti-slip-floor-products#product1

The On/Off button does not appear because of your Chrome browser. We suggest to switch to another browser and they you will be able to do this. Yes, this is what we stated. You can add this ID for the section item where product/s are. Of course this requires some skills in customization in css. If what we gave you above, is still not enough, we recommend to contact with your developer because we already gave you all necessary details.

Muffingroup did not in any way provide any of the necessary details to solve this problem.

You pointed to a huge manual and said read it, without explicitly stating which section to read.

That's not help, it's a cop-out.
Help tell your customer where to look, what's it's called, etc..

I'm also having a problem here. I want to create a text link from my page content <a href="https://www.georgiedonnelly.com/cityscapes/#medina"> and need to set the anchor tag for the photo on the cityscapes page <a name="medina">.

I now how to do this (as above in html), but how do I do it in muffin builder please ?

As you can see this is NOT a one page site.

Just create a column item and insert this html there, then add a section, edit it and fill the ID field with your "medina" id. You also need to add a scroll class.

Are you not using a simple HTML link?

If you want to use another item to link then please tell us which because not all of the items can have the scroll class applied.

I'm linking to an image in Muffin builder. I'm confused as you've asked me to add a scroll class, which a simple html link doesn't require ? My html link takes me to the page www.georgiedonnelly.com/cityscapes, but not to the image section item.

BTW I think when you said "You also need to add a scroll class" (.scroll {}) you might have meant a scroll id #scroll {} ?

No, what I mean is that if you are using the main menu for one-page scrolling then you only have to enable the one-page option in the page options. However if you are using a custom link to scroll to ID then you have to add a class to it. That class name is "scroll". I gave you en example earlier:

I do not know exactly what are you trying to do.

OK I've found the problem, I'd made a typo for custom id "full=width" instead of full-width which was negating the medina id. Now working fine though would have been nice to have the link going to the actual image rather than the general section.

I am going through the same issue and it looks like for years the Muffin Group have not been able to address is properly. For some reason, they just do not understand the question and leave you perplexed.

I posed the same question about the same problem and they first sent me literature that does not relate to what I am asking. Then they incorrectly assume that it is a one page site, even though I explained clearly. I even sent screenshots with arrows and explanations to no avail.

The funny thing is that, this is so easy with other themes. All you need to do is look up a video and you will be done in 5 minutes. I regret my purchase!!!

I had to look twice, but actually Muffin Group did give an answer that makes page jumps to a specific section possible. (so you don't need a one page site for it to work). It's not that difficult:

1st step: Give the section you want to link to, an ID (there is an ID field when you edit the section, give the ID a unique name (like unique). If you don't see the ID field, you should try one of the containers.

2nd step: Go to the page where you want to link from. Edit the element where you link to the other page, put in the page name you want to link to and end with #unique.

This should work!
