I added the CSS

.post-meta .author-date { display: none !important; }

and I still have the author-date on the post sliders. Added it the the theme options/blog css. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

And how would I get the title of the post off the OUR TITLES grid? I only want it to link through and could find a way to toggle it off.

Your css is working, there are not dates present. Clear your browser cache.
